Dennis talks about the shocking report of the State Department of Environmental Conservation seizing and euthanizing two rescued, domesticated house pets, Peanut the Squirrel and Fred the Raccoon. Our tax dollars are paying for these types of authoritarian actions from our government!

A judge signed a warrant for going into their home. Who was this lunatic judge. Get him out of office now!!

From the Wall Street Journal editorial page, Nov. 3 2024: "New York can’t keep the subways safe, the mentally ill attack random pedestrians on the streets, and the Manhattan district attorney won’t prosecute many nonviolent crimes. But house a pet squirrel, and the state’s bureaucrats will come down on you like you’re a menace to society."

I heard out the pet squirrels owners own mouth. 5 government agencies all showed up. The couple had to remain outside their home for hours and hours while the house was searched. The government SS officers confiscated the squirrel only to destroy it. The whole story just makes me fume.

For those of you who don't know the pos-mfing judge, one Richard Rich who issued the warrant was a FAMILY COURT judge, and as far as we can tell has no jurisdiction what-so-ever in matters such as this.
The warrent on it's face was unlawfully issued, so any "evidence" gathered became poisoned fruit. Thus any persons involved in the execution of the unlawful warrant were committing a felony crime, (assault, and battery under color of authority; usc Title 18 § 241 & 242)! If convicted, the mandatory minimum sentence is 30 years in Federal Prison, not counting the addition for time for the use of a gun in the commission of a crime! Plus the loss of qualified immediately!!!
Let's get somebody on this

The question that's not being asked - why does the Dept of Environment and Conservation even have a SWAT team?

My kid is a veterinary surgeon who has witnessed animal cruelty by haters on an unimaginable scale. The fact that anyone would want to attack a sanctuary out of pure spite show's everyone the depth of evil in human beings.

We rescued to baby squirrels when I was a kid. Their mother was killed. They brought so much happiness. They are very clean and easy to take care of. Soon though, my dad said it was time to reintroduce them to the wild. We built a rope bridge to an oak tree so they could come and go as they pleased. We started seeing them less and less until finally they stayed in the woods. Fun memories

This story absolutely breaks my heart. This government is so demented and stupid and corrupt it would literally murder 2 pets rather than let this man rescue them from certain death in the wild. This government has treated its own citizens the same way in the Carolinas and Maui when it did nothing to help them and prevented volunteers from rescuing them or bringing food and water. This election is existential.

Something I have not heard mentioned anywhere is euthanizing an animal who 'might' have rabies is NOT the standard operating procedure at all. As an example, if a dog bites someone and the owner can not show proof of a rabies vaccination, or in the case where a stray dog bites someone and the owner can not be found, that animal is quarantined for 10 days, either at the local city animal shelter or at a licensed
Veterinarian's office. If, after the 10 day quarantine period, the animal is not sick, it would be returned to the owner or in the case of a stray, it can be put up for adoption. THERE IS NO REASON TO EUTHANIZE THEM!! This is the standard operating procedure nationwide. We also must remember that no squirrel in the history of our country (or at least since they have kept records of such things) has EVER passed rabies to a human being. Now, add to that the fact that squirrels (even wild ones who live in the wild where there are animals that have rabies rather than in someone's house where their health is constantly monitored)...anyway, a squirrel contracting rabies is incredibly rare in the first place, really, really incredibly rare. I'm of the opinion that a 10 day quarantine would have been a much smarter solution. I am a retired Animal Control Officer with certifications in Animal Heath and Animal Cruelty. This is certainly a blatant case of animal cruelty and in my official capacity, I would have arrested those who seized these animals and needlessly killed them.

I truly find it odd that the State of New York would choose to remove a squirrel from a loving family just to terminate it! What a government!

This is so much worse than the death of a squirrel! This is the point where we realize how much power we have given to mindless bureaucrats, the control we have given them to control every aspect of our lives. Right down to whether our pets are allowed to live or die. How long, if left unchecked, until it is by their discretion we live or die?

Proverbs 12:10 says, “The righteous care for the needs of their animals, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.” Kindness to animals is godly.

In England the authorities ignored the kidnapping drugging and gangraping of children for decades, while prosecuting a man for "insulting a police horse".

Sadly the "snitch" lives in Texas. What business did she have complaining to NY when she lives in Texas. What business did NY have reacting on a complaint from Texas?

I work in government and let me tell you, you’re right about the people it attracts! I’ve worked with some great people but also with a lot of little tyrants

Also, a squirrel that had been living indoors for 7 years could not have been bitten by a rabid wild animal, so he could not have rabies. They killed him saying he bit an officer and could have been rabid. My question is, how did the officer treat the squirrel?

anonymous complaints are NOT Probable Clause.
The judge who signed that warrant should be disbarred.
.
“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”
.
Emphasis on; no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation,
And with all the REAL crimes being committed in New York WHY the all our RAID on this couple's home?
