"Get Me to the Stage On Time" is a behind-the-scenes look at the country music group, Sawyer Brown. A band that has traveled millions of miles, made 24 albums, and played 6000 shows, thanks to legions of fans they could count on, even if Nashville counted them out.

It’s a David and Goliath story that transcends musical genres, just like the band has. It’s the American Dream by way of a dirt road—and it’s the story of a band that turned 15 minutes of fame into a 40-year career.

"Get Me to the Stage on Time" will premiere as part of the Nashville Film Festival on Sunday, Oct. 1. Following the film, we are performing live on stage and will be joined by several surprise guests!

It had to have been 92 or 93. I was working in Iowa. A friend said let's go out, there's live music tonight. It was a little bar with a little dance floor and a little stage. On that stage was Sawyer Brown. And wow! Just wow! Such great music, so much fun. Then at break time Mark came down from the stage and asked me if I was having a good time and said how much he appreciated me being there. And that was it, I was in love with the music, the band and the man. I went from not having heard of them to going out and buying their CDs the next day. Love you guys. Looking forward to the movie.

This is going to be AMAZING! I absolutely can not wait to see this! I have been blessed to get to see Sawyer Brown 3 times & every single time they put on a COMPLETELY & AMAZING SHOW!!! My husband went with me to one of the concerts (before we was married), he only went to be with me. He has never liked country music & he still doesn't to this day, but he knew I did. After the concert my husband put his arm around me & said "ok I will admit it, they put on one hell of a show"! I loved that he has said that & of course it was completely true! Sawyer Brown was the only country music concert he would ever go & see with me & I know it would still be the same all these years later!
