How to beat the GOBLINS in 'Goblin Slayer'

If your family was killed by horrifying goblins what would you do? They took everything from you, and now they are about to destroy everything you love AGAIN unless you stop them! I'm going to break down the mistakes, what you should do, and how to beat the GOBLINS in Goblin Slayer!

Funny thing is, most of this can be boiled down to "Do what goblinslayer does" The mans an expert on goblins (duh) and has built everything around killing goblins effectively and in great numbers. He knows everything about the goblins from the main strengths and weaknesses, to the more subtle ones like how they wreck blades with their blood. Ive always been a fan of the idea that the guild should pay its expert members to write up guides for specific creatures for a nominal fee. That way they can go "Ok look, its your first mission fighting firbolgs, read this manual, it covers the dangers of the monsters and how best to fight them." I bet the survival rate of new mercs would go way up if they had it all spelled out for them.

Basically, even a weak ass opponent can become strong with overwhelming numbers and underhanded tactics. If you don't want them to grow into a problem, wipe out the pest. Every last one.

Priestess did purify blood before and her goddess was like "look, I don't mind you killing (she is the earth goddess not the peace one), but using your magic to cause that much pain on your victim is not cool. I'll let you pass since I didn't tell you before but if you do it again you'll lose my favor"

You know what would be an interesting dynamic to introduce to the show? Kobolds. I think Goblin Slayer's opinion of them would actually be positive, since they are a natural predator and enemy of goblins. The problem is, most people view kobolds the same way most people view spiders, and thus try to squish them when they shouldn't. While kobolds ARE responsible for a lot of adventurer deaths, it's usually out of self-defense. While it is true kobolds will steal shiny things, this usually happens due to their own justified biases against 'tall folk'. They don't actually need to steal if they have access to their own metals. Tragically though, Kobolds are targeted whether they stole their riches or not, as it is incredibly profitable for an adventurer to raid a kobold nest.

If people would leave them alone, or even offer tribute to the kobolds, they can turn friendly, and be a critical ally against the goblins. Alas, people's own biases usually result in the death of kobolds, which drives them closer and closer to extinction, and thus magnifies the goblin threat as a result.

Moreover, due to the continued persecution of kobolds, kobolds will seek ANY ally to help them live...even if that means signing up with the badguy, thus perpetuating the negative stereotype.

The show's light novel actually mentions Priestess attempting to use purification on blood to turn the entire goblins' circulatory system into water. But her goddess actually denies the use of that due to it's inherently cruel and broken nature and nearly lost her ability to cast magic as a result.

I feel like Goblin slayer is based on a DnD campaign, especially with the appearance of a Beholder, which is that big eyed thing with more tendrils each one containing an eye.

If I recall correctly Priestess didn't know purification at the time of the fist Ogre fight, and using it on a living being was prevented from working by the Earth Mother(her patron goddess) which almost resulted in her being cut off from use of her miracles.

Very simple. A lot of prep work. If you go alone, always be over prepared and never underestimate the goblins. If you go in a group, be very aware of the terrain, and your strengths and weakness and never drop your guard. Only bring the strongest and most capable females that can also handle themselves if you get separated because the goblins will go after them first. And it isn't sexist, maybe don't bring females at all. Dude's just get killed. Woman get far worse

That eye monster is more commonly known as a beholder. A giant eyeball with several (up to 10) eyestalks, capable of seeing all directions and casting a wide array of magic spells.

If you play RPG/dungeon and dragons/forgotten realms games, usually a beholder is enough to send everyone into a panic. Can wiki it for more info

After the first episode of that anime I was petrified because of THAT one scene, but since goblin slayer killed them provoking any more of THAT scene, I kept on watching the anime and continued

I feel like if a town has a full on militia that is trained and uses the Macedonian phalanx alot of the issues with the smaller goblins and most likely bigger goblins would be mitigated as there would actually be structure and order.
