Hi Henning I sure enjoy your videos and the great reviews you do, I'm a new player just starting out (70 years old but always wanted to play the guitar), I was looking for a good electric guitar to start out with, and learn on, and I picked yours, I ordered one from HB, and it got here a couple of weeks ago, boy it's so beautiful, and I think for me having a great guitar to look at will also inspire me to learn when I get it out and play The HB Signature Model (your model) is so nice, the color and I like the two different pickups you did a great job designing it.

But I WANTED the purple pickups! Any chump can get black pickups or mod it accordingly. The purple pickups were part of what made it special!

It would be great if HB produce more st-shaped guitars with fixed bridge!

I thought this was your hobby and your home and was envious; now I'm happy that you've found this endeavor and hope you have much success to enjoy. Peace.

Ell has obviously ppl look at the fretboard markers, otherwise they wouldn’t miss them. I don’t necessarily need them but if they are there, I do recognize them in a way that they make my life easier...if that makes sense

I don't ever look at the dots on the edge of the board. I always look at the board itself.

Awesome guitar. I just ordered mine from Thomann. Thank you for designing such an affordable boutique-style guitar. I look forward to playing it myself.

Hi, Could you do a series of Youtubes using just the Harley Benton bundles to hear what they actually sound like? Beginners do not have access to all the pedals and amps that are used in most of the demonstrations. It would provide a more realistic expectation of someone new buying a Harley Benton.

I remember the first time you announced the HP42 sig way back when, congrats on it finally becoming a legit HB line you deserve it.
Also love that the paw print stays even if all the other stuff goes.

LOVE that the paw is still there. Looks great. I do miss the purple pups, but I can live with black. I gotta get one!

Wished more brands did this.
Some signature guitars are awesome but I have no interest is having the artist's personalized logos/fret markers on my personal instrument.
Love that you kepts the push push button.

Damn, when you said "purple pickups - maybe not for everyone", I was really hoping for "thus we made em pink."

I just ordered one this morning! money has been really tight because of you know.. the plague but im so excited I have to give you and the Harley Benton credit. The guitar you get for the money is just insane, i mean locking tuners, Graphtech nut, coil splitting and a neck with that grain under 500 bucks are you all insane?! anyone reading this hope you are doing well and wishing you and your loved ones all the best

DUDE!! That camera shot on the slider from 14:50 to 15:05 was pure poetry. Don't know if that was Lesley's doing or your own, but And great guitar for the money. Congrats.

I've been a fan of Harley Bentons, ever since I built one of their prs kits and was blown away. Then I set up a customers single cut and was blown away again. I've been looking at their guitars, thinking about what to buy for a while. I don't know how this model didn't catch my eye sooner. A hard tail super strat, with a p 90 and a humbucker, locking tuners, flame top, AND a roasted maple neck!? Yes please! I love the look, sound, and features. I will have one. 😀

It's a good thing, that "Signature" models are available also in this price range nowadays. This particular model brings some "refreshment" to my eyes in the "deep and wide sea" of pretty common Strat-copy models. I really like the shape of the body, they placement of the hardware and PUs on it, and the matching headstock is always a big advantage desing-wise.

But if it was on me - just for my taste - I would not ever use any fretmarkers, as I'm a fan of "clean" fretboards. (Unless there are some beauty inlays & pearl used along the fretboard. But here, I would say a totally clean fretboard would look the best.)

I would place golden hardware, potmeters & switch on it, and I'd have used a roasted maple wooden cover over the Pickups, or at least a caramel/cream colored plastic cover for them, instead of these black ones.

I also like this green color, but I'd done it as a burst. I suppose such painting always makes an instrument more interesting. If Harley Benton once makes such a guitar in their Signature or Custom Deluxe/Anniversary series, that would be my dream instrument for sure. :)
