The only thing that matters in muscle growth are these things in the order: train hard (to failure), eat at surplus (500kcal), eat enough protein (1.6g/kg +), enough sleep

Everything else is just unnecesarry mix maxing. Both heavy and light weights will get you there, do which ever you prefer more

This is so true. I just do my own thing. I do CBLA split 6 days a week and i progress and grow quickly because i tried the advice but i stuck to what works.

At his body weight he could just try to main-gain. Most people end up barely cutting so he will eventually lose the fat but also be a lot stronger.

whoever is new to lifting and wants to know more about it I recommend listening to Jeff Nippard, Jeremy Ethier, or Sean Nalewanyj. They give the best science-based tips

What i have learned in last 3 years of going to the gym is, follow trusted and honest content creators and follow what they do.

I have noticed that all of then may not do everything the same as each other and they should not too as everyone has different bodies and i saw one very good video where 3 professionals were doing lat pulldowns and all three were using same grips and shit but the technique of each was different but hitting the same muscle, you do exercises according to your abilities, height, size of bones etc.

it depends on what your training ngl, cause if you are lifting, upper body, legs, and cardio or something like that, it's fine, but if you are doing something like calisthenics, then a pull, push, leg split with a cardio day in between if you want is a lot more optimal

The big thing is do your own thing, know what your goal is and do research to understand what effect different things have. Everyone trains differently trying to achieve different results all so they can reach their own personal goal.

That’s actually a pretty good question at the end, I started going to the gym about a month ago for the same reason, I wanna gain lean mass but also lose weight in the process, should I bulk or cut?

Correct answers:
PPL split is best for hypertrophy, and it's not even close
Light weight for side raises, slow eccentric, pause at the bottom
For a beginner, eat at maintenance and recomp

Find someone online that u want to look like and listen to them and only them. The biggest problem is there’s too much info abt everything, find what u want to achieve and follow one person
