Refusing service due to a disability?
That's a bold move, Cotton. I know that there is an attorney somewhere just waiting for a case like this.

This is like telling a deaf person to stop listening in on your conversation.

LAWSUIT!!! The gym basically told the blind man "I don't care about your disability, you need to leave" and that my friends is a discrimination lawsuit.

As a woman who has escaped from a serial killer, seen a man touch himself in a store window in front of myself and a little girl, and been a survivor of assault by my own family… these “women” have NEVER encountered and ACTUAL predator in their lives. They need to be legally held responsible for discrimination against people with disabilities as well. BIG lawsuit ahead!

I'm a woman and in my younger days I worked out for years at Bally Total Fitness. People looked at other people all the time. I looked at both men and women, whether it was because they looked good or had on a cute outfit or because I wanted to see how they were doing a particular exercise. This of course was long before social media. There is nothing wrong with someone glancing at you or even looking for a couple of seconds, man or woman. These women dress to impress then call out men for their perfectly reasonable reactions. They are toxic, the exact thing they are accusing men of being. I hope the man who is blind sues the heck out of that gym.

The inability to admit you were wrong is a hallmark of modern society.

Banned from a gym for being blind?!?! Sounds like a lawsuit and a half to me. Since when is outright discrimination "woke, tollerant, and progressive"?

When outrage is considered a virtue, it’s a problem.

I was a personal trainer in a gym for a few years. The women who spent an hour in the changing room fixing their hair and make up and getting their boobs out was excruciating. They dressed like that to get looked at and only got offended if the guy that was looking wasn't "hot". Self entitled, self obsessed IG generation. Everything has to go my way or I'm offended. Gym staff deal with creeps because it's part of our job. Sometimes looking straight ahead is an important part of an exercise 🤷

The fact that he even pulled out his ID to prove he was blind. How can that manager still side with the woman?! Boggles my mind

The blind dude was so polite and kind. He's the worst person to wrongly accuse.

The bigger problem I see is how they refuse to apologize and admit that they made a mistake, instead, they push it further. These women couldn't handle the thought of them being wrong so they attack disabled people to feel superior

I’m a woman and you can’t tell me that women don’t check out good looking men at the gym. I am so tired of women like this.

She heard and understood when Pete said he was blind. She realized what a horrible person she is, and decided to make herself into the victim so she wouldn't be the bully. It didn't work on the internet, but management in ANY place is usually incompetent and mentally slow

Can we take a minute to appreciate how much content Nate has pumped out for us these past couple days! I’m surprised I’m getting all these notifications and I’m here for it!

Could the bloke who got kicked out of the gym sue them for breach of ADA? He made them aware he was blind and was unable to know what/where he was looking and they still decided to kick him out. I suppose it would depend on the wording of the gym membership contact. Would be interesting to see how that panned out.

A response 100% devoid of logic. Please sue.

I once worked in a convenience store for a short time. Two ladies came in—obviously coming from a recent gym visit—and one of them opened a beverage fridge door and crouched down. It looked like she needed help since she took a while. The other lady teases me and tells her friend when she came up that I was staring at her. I was shocked and embarrassed because that was the FURTHEST thing from my mind. All I wanted to do was my job. I knew in that moment that I couldn’t protest either because it would just make me look like I was a lying creep. I wish the narcissism would stop in a lot of today’s culture. These people really are not the center of everyone’s attention they think they are.

I think you hit the nail on the head when you said there is a agenda for being offended for the sake to being offended. I think there is a rise in people who don't have anything of real value in themselves that they have to report everything they see on social media, that it has skewered there own perseption of self importance. Unfortunately, this has crept in to the work space and from what I have seen, people are afraid to talk to one another at work.
