Ever since Kathleen Kennedy and Leslye Headland’s The Acolyte was cancelled, the activists have been in a state of shock, including the ones in the media; and they are seemingly determined to pressure Disney into bringing the Acolyte back, at shareholder expense!

The people pushing for this to come back don't actually care about The Acolyte. They are terrified of losing any ground in Hollywood because if the studios realized that ideology doesn't sell, then the activists lose all their power. And that means no more shaming their way into projects they don't deserve, or piggybacking off the corpses of famous franchises. They'd have to do the one thing they are most terrified of doing- actually coming up with an idea and being judged on their execution.

I think the Willow series will have a new roommate for a long time.
