I love how he is both his father and the son and it seems absolutely plausible 😂

it took me a long while to convince my dad that the email on his phone and the one on his computer are the same.

I started playing dumb and my brother is now the tech guy. I might look like an idiot but I'm okay with that.

This is hilariously accurate. I miss these interactions with my Dad so always remind yourself time with loved ones is finite.

The closing line, “I’m actually at my parents house right now…”

😂😂😂😂

... ... ...THIS...

...is so accurate, so beyond-description of how exact these times are in real life that I gut-laughed, angry-cried, and maybe even experienced a flash of PTSD.

...Good on ya, Miles. 🤣🤙

One of my parents is more clueless than this, and the other writes down passwords but doesn't update the written list when a password changes. Man, was this accurate.

Dude this is 100% accurate, I literally went through both the email and tv remote struggle with my father it went exactly like this.

The brilliance in this video is not to be understated. And the fact that you were at your parent's house and he was ranting about his phone...hahahahahahahahahaha

I'm this son for many family members, but I don't mind the excuse to spend time.

I was at my grandparents last week and before I left he asked me to figure out WiFi connection to 4 different devices and setup the printer haha extended my stay by an extra hour. Got to love older folks and technology

I set my mom up with a password manager, the idea being she only has to remember one password which will then let her access all her passwords. She forgot the one password.

My mother just confessed to me that a few months back, they were literally on their way to Best Buy, with some scammer on the phone who told them not to hang up, to walk them through buying an Apple gift card to "fix" their computer that was sending out viruses. They don't HAVE a computer anymore. Apparently, they made all the way to the store before it dawned on them that "Apple" probably wouldn't be asking you to buy them a gift card. And that's when I realized my parents are old. She told me this while I was "fixing" their soundbar. I don't even need to say what was wrong. You all know already.

At one point when I called my mom it would go straight to voicemail. If just hangup and call dad. After 2 or 3 times of this happening I asked if her phone was OK. It was, except we figured out she had blocked my calls...and she couldn't figure how to take me off the blocked list.

My grandparents were going to call a repair man to fix their tv. I switched the HDMI to “fix it” and they said I should go to school to be an engineer

Not only is this 100% accurate on every visit, chef’s kiss at the end was my mom’s ring tone. Because you know parents don’t keep their phone on silent.

The input button. . .
I can't tel you how many times I've told my Mum and grandmother to press it. Sure there are 3 HDMI settings, and if you don't remember which port it's plugged into, you're going to have to check all three. . .
Side note: Anyone else have a PS1 and feel like a master electrician when plugging that thing in, as a child!? I felt accomplished! (Even though it wasn't hard.)

Thanks for making me feel a little less stupid.

My parents have been gone for over 15 years now. I wish I was still called to help with their phones, TV, DVR, and set the time on all the digital clocks. 😢
