This lesson teaches how to luse the 7th and the 10th of a common jazz chord progression, ii - V - I , to add some harmony to your jazz bass line. I show you clearly where the 7th an 10th of each chord is located on your fingerboard. Then, I demonstrate these add notes to a simple 2-beat bass line. While vamping with the double stops, (root and 10th or 7th) I add a close-up view of a short solo.

The ii - V - I progression is the fundamental of jazz harmony and the added 10th and 7th will provide the perfect accompaniment your practicing jazz solos.

This is great. Another "simple" idea that needs some time and focus. Really applicable to improve. Thanks Jim.
