I’ve been brewing my own too. We have a discount grocery store where I get some pods for my Keurig for the low. But most times I use my refillable pod and use regular ground coffee. My daughter picks on me for having the OG Keurig machine but hey, if it works-use it. I also travel for work. The hotel staff gave me a lot of disposable cups with lids…Happy Frugaling!

Good for you! I make my own coffee every day and love it. I started because I was tired of the inconsistency in flavor I was encountering with my daily purchase (tasting burnt or overbrewed). I tried drip coffee and French press coffee, but found I really enjoy instant espresso 🤷🏻‍♀️ so I buy a giant jar of Bustelo instant espresso (I've found other good ones too, but this one is still decent while being economical) and make that with plenty of milk, sugar, etc. Now I get a daily latte that's never burnt!

Making your own coffee can actually be a pretty cool learning experience. Grind your own, get a French press or pour over coffee maker, explore different roasts and types of coffee. An annoying chore can sometimes be turned into a cozy (dare I say-hygge) ritual with some minor modifications and a change of perspective.

Cheers ☕

I have a good coffee maker at home. But before work I always stop and buy coffee. It definitely does add up . 💰

One positive to this is that it makes your home smell like coffee! ☕️❤️

Tim, you find a coffee brand/blend you like, a great travel mug, and you will love it just as much as store-bought! Love the vid short ♥️

It definitely makes a difference over time spending wise. Best to make a habit of that & treat yourself to a espresso every once in a while.

I used to love getting my coffee out. Then I wanted to save money and I started making it. at home. Now I prefer it that way!

Oh it won't be so bad. You can get creative with all the flavored creamers on the market. Pumpkin Spice? Salted Caramel? Dulce de Leche? So many yummy ones! 😁

I am trying so hard to do this, but it is extremely challenging! My drive or walk to go get coffee is a highlight of my day!

I do the same. Starbucks is an occasionally treat but you can always brew Starbucks at home.

It's only exciting once you begin to reap the rewards which is usually towards the end of your goals 😂🤣

There are so many ways of saving money. If you're ever getting coffee from one of those illustrous coffeehouses, you are paying quite a bit for the stuff. Biggest thing I did lately is the electrical rates hit a lower point (here in TX where winter energy is lower usage anyway), so I locked in to a better rate than I was paying. If you're creative, you can find ways of spending less.

Once you establish a routine it gets to be second nature. I brew the Target generic brand and love it! ☕
