“One of the Longest” My bad.

I'm sure all of you have seen that discord meme or video with the girl who presses the F25 Key, and then gets sucked into the computer and insanity ensues. But I've been trying to find out where this clip originated. Specifically the part with the girl. I assume it came from some 90's VHS tape about the internet or computers or something, but there's no good source as to exactly what.

The F25 Key meme started as a joke where a YouTuber called Stuff3 added one of my videos at the timestamp where she pressed a keyboard after saying "Get ready!". It then escalated on YouTube and on Reddit which then spawned a series of extremely long videos where the length of the video stretches to over 9 days, well 223 hours, actually! It was even used in a few YouTube Poop Tennis matches as well! (a mashup game where people edit the video back-and-forth)

a lot of people dont know that old keyboards had up to f24, so f25 isnt actually completely random, its just one up from the old standard

For the people who are wondering why the joke isn't "I hit the F13 key" or something similar, it's because F13-F24 actually exist. Most keyboards map them to Alt+F1 through Alt+F12, but there's actually an entire sub-category of keyboards that feature those as dedicated keys too.
