I made a home cooked meal today. It was terrible. I'm usually great at cooking, I've literally been cooking my whole life. I still feel better about it than if I'd got takeout. I've really been working hard to not default to delivery lately for my health and wallet!

There are many variations on how to make Indonesian food, different households have different recipes and likings, same like the rest of the world. I usually have my tempeh kecap chopped small and with a whoolleee lot of sauce, I eat it with rice or usually have it stir-fried with chopped green beans hehe. That being said, we should just cook however we like to eat xD

Next time maybe you can try tempe thinly cut (wide but thin) then dip in the batter (plain flour, salt, pepper, coriander powder, garlic crushed, pinch of turmeric powder, thinly sliced spring onions, msg optional ) then fry it 👍 its called “tempe mendoan”
