Brief explanation of what was going on with Tracer: Tracer was a pilot that was testing a time travelling plane. There was an unfortunate accident, and Tracer was stuck blinking in and out of reality in a chaotic fashion. Winston was the one who made the device on her chest, which stabilizes her, but also gives her the ability to control her place in time, which gives her the blink and rewind abilities. Without the device, she is back to blinking in and out of reality.

He didn’t kill Tracer- he damaged her chronal accelerator and caused her to return to her ghostlike state. This pissed Winston off and Winston kicked his ass. Doomfist got arrested, then around game time, Reaper busted him out. After the fight, Winston fixed the accelerator and got Tracer back to normal (or as normal as her condition allows)

Doomfists character and design makes him the best villian I ever met!

One reason I like Doomfist is because his Social Darwinist philosophy exemplifies what Talon (his faction in the game) is all about.

Overwatch believes that world and humanity/omnics will be bettered through harmony, peace, and cooperation. Talon believes in making the world stronger through conflict, competition, and being tested; even if that means using more radical methods, e.g. Doomfist's use of cybernetics or Moira's use of genetic engineering.

Because of an accident with an experimental teleporting jet called the Slipstream, Tracer has basically become a time ghost. Without the chronal accelerator that Winston made for her, she can't remain anchored in a position in time, or maintain her physical form. That's why she starts to blink erratically when Doomfist tears the chronal accelerator off her back.

A very brief summary of Winston and Tracer's relationsship: Tracer used to be an ace pilot at a very young age, which is why she was chosen to test the Slipstream fighter jet developed by Overwatch, and experimental aircraft that incorporated teleportation technology. There was, however, an accident with the teleportation technology aboard the Slipstream and the ship just disappeared. She was presumed dead, however she turned up quite some time later. However, she now suffered from a condition called "Chronal disassociaton", which basically means that the molecules of her body are no longer anchored in the normal flow of time, making her disappear at random and not being able to fully keep up a chorporal form whenever she managed to stay in one time and in one place. Long story short, Winston, being the brilliant gorilla scientist from the moon he is, developed the Chronal Accelerator - the thing Tracer carries in that harness she wears. Not only does that machine help her becoming anchored in time and space again, it also lets her bend time and space to her advantage (thus giving her her ingame abilities of "Blink" and "Recall"), letting her manipulate her own stream of time. Anyways, that's why she is especially close with Winston - the big guy is basically family for her nowadays in the OW timeline. And that is also why Winston goes into primal rage when he sees Doomfist rip off Tracer's harness, thus making her disappear again.

Just found your channel and love the OW videos! Doomfist firmly believes that humanity evolves and improves the most out of conflict, strongest survive, and therefore wants war. As for Tracer, she has a great origin story you could watch. I'm sure you've already read this but there are also comics about a few heroes. Take care!

"It seems like he has a really dark past" Psshht, I mean, ok, only if you consider being a young martial artist who excelled in his sport only to lose one of his arms in the aftermath of the Omnic Crisis and having to get a prosthetic (which disqualified him for competition), being taken in by the second Doomfist, Akinjide Adeyemi (yeah, there was more than one person named "Doomfist" in the lore, with Akande Ogundimu being the current one that's in the game right now), only to eventually betray and kill his mentor (thus taking the gauntlet and the title of "Doomfist") to be "DARK", I guess.
