When I heard that Inspector Inniss had passed away, I was stunned and I didn't even know him. I am a UK national now living here and I have listened to many police officers in the UK reporting on tragic events. However, when I heard Inspector Inniss, he spoke with such compassion when speaking about some truly dreadful incidents. God broke the mould when he made him. This is a dreadful loss. He is irreplaceable. I fondly remember when he reassured us when new rules came into force when the govt announced that the police would not be attending minor accidents. I offer my heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends. May God comfort them at this sad time.
