I have been a huge fan of 8bitdo, but these licensed controllers will give them a run for their money. I do like having a brand new Sega controller. My only gripe is that I can't use the controller to access a menu feature that it was not designed to access.

Thanks for the video my man ! I recently purchased a mega sg and was gonna get either this wireless controller or the 8bitdo but this one is looking better. And god dammit the mega sg is a real genesis ! Screw the nay sayers and those elitists

I get why Sega included SF2 Special Champion Edition because that was Sega's version of SF2. Super Nintendo had SF2: The World Warrior and SF2 Turbo: The Hyper Fighting which was included on the SNES Mini which makes sense why Sega included SF2 Special Champion Edition as it's kinda of Sega's version of SF2 Turbo. Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers was the SF2 that Sega and Nintendo shared as it was available on the Genesis and the SNES. Being that said with the retro bit SF2: Special Champion Edition on the Genesis Mini feels good. I had 2 original Model 1 Genesis' growing up but I never had the six pad controller. Overall the six button pad feels more modern more 90s where the 3 button gets the job done, with it's larger size and larger oversized clunky 3 button setup feels more like str8 outta 1989. Very impressed overall with the 8 button retro bit. Kudos to Sega and retrobit for making this amazing retro gaming package possible.

On a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, how close is the wireless controller compared to the original wired controller? ...also, when press down on the d-pad on the wireless controller in the middle, does it go all the way down, or is there a middle center piece there to prevent that?

Beyond oasis, contra hard corps, virtua fighter & Eternal champions Supports the 6 buttons
Shinobi 3 supports it but the mode button is programmed for the menu so if someone could fix that in the Genesis mini hack i would be happy

Only one beef with Sega is that more fighting games that utilized the 6 button pad should've been included like Mortal Kombat 1-3 and as well as Super Street Fighter 2 The New Challengers just saying. I would love to hack the Genesis mini and add these titles as well as maybe some 32X titles especially Virtua Fighter on the 32X even though the game didn't really require the 6 button pad I still feel like it would be a be a better experience as with Street Fighter 2

I really like your Videos, but this one is stupid. To give it a negative point for not having a mega sg home button? That's dumb. Sry but it is so.This controller is not espacially for the mega sg, instead of the 8bitdo. Think before you judge...
