My spec commerical for the upcoming blu ray release of my favourite anime of all time: Macross Plus! I love this ova to death and had a ton of fun making a classic anime dvd style trailer for it.

This was a revelation when I saw it. The transforming mechs are just the backdrop for a character study of three friends and how their lives end up.

This was way before anime was a global thing. A true piece of animation art and great storytelling. Yoko Kanno is the soul of this film.
