What's up DCS Crew?

Talk about full circle! After visiting Nitecore at SHOT Show 2020, we've been in talks and they let me know that when they had some of their newer model EDC Flashlights available, that they'd send one over for me to check out. Lo and behold, I present the Nitecore TIP SE! Boasting some really cool features, I think I may have to rethink my EDC flashlight setup :)

I love my T102 Thrunite. It is my go to edc light. My first edc light is an old nitecore.

The first light I actually carried was a Maglite Solitaire. Currently I carry an L3 Illumination L10 (4 mode Nichia) along side a SAK in my fifth pocket, and in EDC work bag I have a Convoy S2+ that I built up with an XP-L2 and 7135+FET driver

My first is still my daily carry like 6 years strong a thrunite ti3 but I also keep a olight s1 baton mini in the car for when brighter or longer use is needed.

I have to say I actually jumped when you turned it on while having it stand on its butt. And I hate to say it, but I think your camera did a lot of light compensation while you were demonstrating the various lumen levels. I didn't see a lot of difference between the levels, though I know there was. I think my first "edc" type of flashlight carry was one of those silly "press to turn on" type of lights you could put on your keychain. I don't keep anything in my pocket or on my keychain anymore, but I do keep a bunch of cheapo Rockbirds around the house and I have an inexpensive Nicron in my work bag that has a magnetic butt and swivel head for use inside computer cabinets. This little thing is kind of interesting. So many features packed into such a little package. I like it.
