Godzilla Ruins the Original King Kong

Godzilla instigates World War II in 1933.

Now this is phenomenal. I love how Kong's fur shifts every so often like in the original as well as being at a significantly lower framerate than Godzilla. Favorite part's definitely when he starts screwing around with the prop followed up by the comment about the original plans on depicting Godzilla. This some good shit!

Fun fact: Originally, Godzilla was to be filmed through stop motion like Kong was, although since the movie was scheduled before the end of 1954, they didn't have the time, so they started with the man in a suit.

Im in love with the scene at 1:15 because it sudden stops being stop motion style animation and is just some guy flailing around a monkey on a rod and its a really creative way to show the switch from animation to real life before Godzilla shows up again

I'm sitting here in a public library watching this and everybody's looking angrily at me because I REALLY enjoyed the part where the Big G pushes away Willis O'Brien and begins animating Kong himself. This is such a great video. I NEEDED a good laugh.
