When any complaint goes to police station and that's cognizable then its duty to file FIR if they don't investigating purely then there's duty of magistrate to instruct for investigation then magistrate can say for investigation data after each 15 days and magistrate can say for bring data of investigation after each 15 days. It can be filed by an advocate or by self . If any one denying to register case at police station then it should be filed under section 156(3) of crpc

Brother, i need one help, police has register the FIR on August 2023, but did not doing any proper investigation, the incident is of uttrakhand, ipc section 304A, i had find no relief yet, i live in delhi, if i want to file an application under section 156(3) then i had to file to the concerned magistrate only or i can file the application to delhi majistrate also
