Thank you (Y) This is exactly what I hoped to find here on youtube: A DIY vise I can build into the new workbench I'm starting to build next week. And without any special tools I've seen in other DIY vises.

I'm going to flush the outside of the inner board to the side of the tabletop, in case I want to work on the sides of longer boards and make it easy to fasten one end on the vise and the other end with a clamp or two.

And I'm going to make 2 holes for bench dogs in the outer board of the vise, and holes in the top of the bench, to be able to fasten boards, etc, on the table top with the use of the vise.
This basic bench vise in the video makes it so easy to add whatever we want to fit our different needs.

I've watched a lot of vise building videos and your technique is the one I will be following, I will make a few minor changes, I will use leather to face my vise and I will be drilling dog holes in the outer face, my handle will be slightly different but that's all the changes, I've already printed your plans so thankyou very much, I'm going to look to see if you have made a video for your angle grinder cut off jig, I'm going to build that as well.

Show, acabei de fazer hoje a minha, seguindo o vídeo e a planta. Alguma dica pra deixar mais firme pra quando colocar uma peça pequena em um dos lados, não ficar pensa? E não da muita pressão, pra ter uma boa prensagem tenho que colocar mais no centro ou alguma peça que ocupe a extremidade toda da morsa.
