Riot Games' BIGGEST Mistake?! 🗑 |CPG #shorts

This is the CHEESIEST monetization tactic in the last week of gaming!!!
Imagine using lore to charge your player base for something free before?
That's what Riot Games is attempting to do.
Players used to be able to change their Summoner names quite regularly, essentially changing their IGNs, which is great fun, since you can sync up with your 5 stack to have some really hilarious names.
Recently, Riot decided they'd remove the Summoner's Names and have players use their RIOT IDs instead since it was not "lore" friendly.
Not to mention they'd charge players $10 to change their RIOT IDs.
The community went wild in anger, Riot is clearly just using the lore as an excuse to charge players more money for a name replacement.
Some players even suggested having the name change for free but time-gated.
Guess what? Riot REALLY listened and did not proceed with the change, and instead opted to allow players to change their names every three months.
Is this the ONE time a gaming company ACTUALLY LISTENED to their player base before making a huge monetization change?

Idk riot is disgusting, became apparent after like a month of valorant they don’t care about league at all anymore. Balance is terrible skins are trash and overpriced (cough cough soulfighter samira) riot doesn’t care about player input at all even though we make them all their money.
