bored of pentatonic sound on a guitar? Superimposing is a simple way of extending the sound of your pentatonic improvisation, you actually need to know just one shape to try this lesson!

This system is simple, just superimpose a minor pentatonic up a 5th to the minor chord you're playing on. In the video I'll give you a little theory background and show you how to do it. It's simple and fun, and yields greats results.

Playing through subs is a great resource because you can play through many colours despite is still a pentatonic mindset sound . For example, playing the 2nd degree gives you a Dorian sound (Am --> Bm), so you can work with Am, Em and Bm simultaneously and sounds great

So E is the 5th of A. I'm not around my guitar but I'm guessing it works like that for everything? So Gmaj ideas over Cmaj?
