I honestly went to you when my former foundation no longer performed well. I followed your advice and purchased the Chanel Foundation and honestly could not be more pleased.

I am 41 and also love that Chanel Vevet Lumiere foundation. Nothings wears better on my skin. And I have a lot of imperfections - I am very oily, acne pron, large pores, postacne scars, aging spots and wrinkles, you name it. From what I tried, Chanel is the best. Too bad Macy's doesn't have it anymore :(

Wow, Angie! You are so thorough and detailed with your videos, blog, etc. It is very much appreciated. Have you ever thought of doing an anti-aging hand video for those of us who can't afford a hand rejuvenation procedure? My 30-year-old daughter just told me, "Mom, I always remember what you used to say all the time: You can always tell how old a woman really is by looking at her hands." Thanks for all you do for us!

You are the most gorgeous 56 year old ever, I hope and pray I look this good when I'm in my 50's. I'm about to turn 34 and I follow your channel closely.

I’ve started using Revlon Candid, and it works very well. I’m impressed with its long wear, but it looks so natural. It’s a real keeper. I have dry skin, and I’m 57. It gives a light to medium coverage. Give it a try.

I absolutely LOVE Loreal True Match and have tried many, many high end and drugstore foundations. I have dry/combo/sensitive 41-year-old skin :). I also love Almay Smart Shade Anti-Aging for everyday wear. I tried Maybelline Fit Me Dewy & Smooth and loved the way it looked in the mirror, but everytime I saw a photo, I was disappointed. It was just a little too dewy for me, despite the dry skin. My face looks flawless with the True Match, and it doesn't break me out.

My skin looks amazing with the Chanel velvet. Every time I go back to it and nothing beats it yet

I'm SO unbelievably grateful for you! I am 43 and my skin is in rough shape (live in Az and sunscreen wasn't a thing when I was young). You have no idea how much your reviews help me. Thank you!

Your top 3 are my top 3 and I love using all three cuz it makes my Chanel last for a longer time. I am so thankful you did this video tho because I was getting so confused about what products work best with each one and application. I am also thankful for finding your chanel. Your basics skin care routine has helped my skin so much. Menopause came in at age 56 and all of a sudden I had skin that was flaky and dry and none of my makeup was working anymore. Cerave helped my skin overnight and I'm so happy!

Happy Friday, Angie! If you haven't already tried it, you should get the Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation. I have visible pores in the nose and in the cheek and chin area and I swear this stuff blurs them out fantastically. It has nice light to medium buildable coverage you can wear with or without a primer. Sometimes I use a primer for a little extra glow but usually I don't. It's $46 but considering you're getting 1.4 oz. of product, that's a pretty good deal. I think you would love it.

I so agree with you about the Chanel foundation. I have tried many - some drugstore, some higher end - but nothing works better than the Chanel velvet. It also is the least fussy in terms of me needing to blend, prime, set, etc.

Double Wear has a light version, but also a NEW light version called Double Wear Light Soft Matte Hydra Makeup. I'd love to see your thoughts on it!

I was so surprised to hear you couldn't get the Estee Lauder Double Wear to last very long. That one is my holy grail foundation. I don't need a primer but I do set my foundation (with Rimmel Stay Matte Powder). I will always be that person that sets my foundation. I work as a nurse and do 12 hour shifts and my foundation holds strong. I just got home from a shift and before I left one of my coworkers was asking how my makeup looks like I just applied it even after a long shift. I swear by the double wear. I have had days were I have had to be up for 24 hours and it lasted.

I love the CYO Lifeproof Foundation! I agree the colors available are far too limited and favor the more olive skin tones. Hopeful they will increase their shade range and make some more colors for the pink/peach undertone gals like me. When I first tried it I was worried it would be too gray/ashy looking on me. I just used a damp beauty blender and it sheered it out so nicely, but also gave me the coverage I needed. I highly recommend a damp beauty blender with this foundation. I purchased #103 and #106. I've tried each color on their own and later mixed the two which works nicely for me. This morning I had an appointment (very early), and a nurse that I see often said WOW you look so much younger -- did you get anything done? I said no, but I did start using a new foundation this month -- she wrote down the foundation name and is getting it on her way home tonight. I do NOT use a primer with this foundation. I just use my Elta MD facial SPF under it.

I just found your channel and I’m binge watching. I’m 35 and I realize its not mature skin but it’s maturing. I love seeing these videos it’s such a nice break from the 20 year old youtubers who bake like crazy and use a crazy amount of of concealer. Thank you! Your tips have really helped.

I found a new one for my nearly 60 year old, dry skin. It's Glo! I got a sample from either Beautylish or Premierlook. It's absolutely wonderful. I'm in the shade Naturelle. My Holy Grail in the summer is Chanel Velvet Lumiere but I found it a bit drying in the summer. I am thrilled!

I'm surprised you haven't reviewed Estée Lauder's Re-Nutriv foundation. It is expensive but just heavenly on one's skin. I have received so many compliments and numerous friends and colleagues have begun using it. I just love your skin care You Tubes!!!

I have dry skin, so when I’m not wearing a lot of makeup, I use the Elta MD tinted moisturizer over my whole face and then the Chanel foundation with a sponge to cover up my blemishes. I love it...it never comes off :)

I also like a more natural Dewey look. My go to is the Lancôme Renergie Lift foundation. Have you ever tried it? I am tempted to try your Chanel! Just because sometimes I don’t feel like I get as much wear. I do use a primer (cover fx gripping) and if I do set it I use very little powder. I also LOVE the morphe serting spray. Haven’t found the perfect powder for me yet. Especially for under the eye. Thanks for your videos!

As i get older (41) I realize less is more in the way of foundation. For everyday, I love Mac face and body. If I’m going out for the night or an event, I mix YSL touche eclat with either IT CC cream or Bare minerals bare pro.
