FLOP SHOT wide open face NO PROBLEM

When your club face is lay flat and the leading edge is pointing out to the right, trust the loft and you'll be fine. This video will explain how and why?

The reason the club face still points at the Target is because as you turn your shaft, notice that you are also dropping your hands down which brings the club face back on line with the Target. If you simply turned the shaft to open the club face but kept your shaft angle the same, the club face actually would point to the right.

I'm just lousy around the greens and I applied what you said and it worked beautifully. I know your video is 3 years old, but if you get a chance to read this, kudos to you. cheers needed that for my own confidence when opening the clubface on my flop shots .the rod really made the difference .thanks again steve, my golf has really improved since running into your channel.i also find that sticking to one youtube coach that works for you [and it has taken me a while ] helps to keep focus on what your supposed to be doing, i think that was a problem for me in the past, too many diffrent ideas from all over youtube and could never get consistency in my game, now i just take one of your videos at a time and practice that until i do it naturally .thanks again
