bosch washing machine logixx 8 motor problem

I think the problem is that the motor brake got locked into always being on and doesn't allow the motor to turn freely. Most inverter motors usually have brakes

Remove the belt from the motor and check again, then you will know whether the noise is in the motor or the drum.

I wouldn't recommend Bosch. Very low quality now. Weak electronics and thin metal on spider inside drum. Most of them will break after 2 years warranty period.
