Gloucester Township Police Chief and GT Mayor - 9/11 Ceremony Timber Creek HS 9/11/2023

Chief David Harkins, Officers of the Gloucester Township Police, and Gloucester Township, New Jersey Mayor Dave Mayer were honored to attend the 9/11 Ceremonies at Timber Creek Regional High School held on Monday, September 11, 2023 to honor those who lost their lives as a result of the terrorist attacks that occurred on September 11, 2001. GTPD Officers also attended the 9/11 Ceremonies at Triton High School

Also honored were the heroic Fire Fighters, Police Officers, and EMS personnel who gave their lives that day, as well as those heroes who are still giving their lives to this day due to post 9/11 illnesses.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET.

September 11th, Patriot Day, is a day that will never be forgotten in the United States. U.S. citizens will not only remember this date because of the tragic losses of their friends and loved ones, but they will remember this day because of the way that it united an entire country.

On this date, Americans felt a renewed feeling of patriotism and pride for their home country. People all around the globe were reminded about how important friends and family are. We honor those lost but not forgotten on September 11, 2001. Let us not let tragedy divide us, but the pride for our country make us strong.
