New Vegas was a masterpiece because it had such specific, unique endings. Every single faction the Courier interacted with was mentioned in the ending. That, to me, is the gold standard of roleplaying games. If you didn't help so-and-so, they starve and die. If you help so-and-so, they help forge a better future for New Vegas.

Honestly i think if they wanna have more games coming out they should do more collaboration with obsidian. Let them handle a fallout while they're working on a elder scrolls then swap every so often. I know obsidian does their own stuff too just what I'm thinking. Or maybe have some of the other studios under bethesda working on installments like id or arkane. And for the love of god bethesda more black hairstyles. Bethesda used to be located in Maryland. Theres a huge black community here and the studio that started in Maryland only puts 3 black hairstyles in their games?

If Fallout 5 or a Fallout spin-off is way off, maybe inXile or other studios could remake Fallout 1 or Fallout 2? It could have shorter development time than proper sequel or spin-offs. I wonder what core Fallout 1-2 fans think about that, would you want this to happen, or you rather wait for spin-off or sequel?

The series is set enough years after any of New Vegas' endings that they can have plenty of other events happen. They can mention the second battle of hoover damn but have it come from a random wastelander who doesn't know who won.

I’m tired of people saying that Todd hates new Vegas. It is complete bullshit. Todd never created Fallout. He had nothing to do with Fallout until Bethesda bought the IP. I don’t know where this so-called “hate” came from. It’s annoying.
Obsidian, (who Todd sanctioned to create the next fallout game)
created a storyline that is absolutely amazing and Todd Howard is willing to build off of it. Look at the TV show for example.
This topic makes me so angry.

I know someone at bethesda he said caesar won the dam but died and the legion fell back to colorado after a number of months to a year and the ncr was forced out by house who will feature

Just keep the continuities separate...

The show is the show, and the games are the games. They take influences from each other, but are not basing their own lore around one another. In the show, Cooper Howard was the face of the vaults, in the games it can just be a little design from an artist or something else.

It feels unnecessarily complex to try to keep it canonical between both mediums. MCU-616 is not the same as Comic-616 for example.
