This is literally my ex roommate. He has never had a job except for the first 2 weeks out of college almost 2 decades ago. He got fired, blamed it on his boss being a female younger than him, and refused to ever work any job he didn’t feel was worth it. So if he didn’t make millions he wouldn’t take it. His parents are rich and his dad just passed away so that means even more money. But he would constantly have all these random things he would want to tell you or show you that you knew was just an excuse for him to not have to get up. He would call his elderly and sick mother from across their very long house (it wasn’t a mansion or anything but it was very, very long) just to ask her to shut the door, turn the light off, get him a beer, buy him cigarettes or beer, or give him money. She owned her own law firm and he would straight up march into her office building smelling like crap without having a shower in weeks, in the middle of actual legal work or meetings with big level clients, just to demand a check so he could go buy drugs haha. It got to the point where she would have her staff have money or checks ready for him just in case.
