Given that Takamura has conquered multiple weight classes, while being significantly underweight in most, and Ricardo has been a featherweight and nothing else, I'm not sure how you can seriously place him above Takamura.

He's been dominant forever, but pound for pound strongest? Absolutely not. Full potential Ricardo was shown in the second Date fight, where even Bill mentioned that he regressed to his old style. And if not for the broken hand, Date could have won via the Heart Break Shot (which is why Ricardo gives him so much respect). Compared to Takamura going through multiple wars, being on the back foot and ultimately persevering? All against the champions of every division (essentially fighting multiple Ricardos)? It's not really a contest.
