4th generation native Houstonian & still here. My dad took me to my very first concert outside of bluegrass & folk concerts my mom took me to growing up. He had moved to the hill country near Austin & looked "just like" ZZ Top with his beard & Harley, and off we went to the ZZ Top Afterburner concert. He was so excited to introduce me to this kind of music! It made me want to move & was harder than most rock I had really been listening to yet. It was amazing!!! 😍 (It was 1986 & I was 12 & the 2 chicks in front of us were trashed & kept standing up so we couldnt see. My dad kept asking them to sit down & he finally was fed up & poured his beer all over both of them. They sat down after that... 😂 BwaaHaha!
The only other musicians I heard my dad talk about that much were Willie Nelson & Hank Williams Jr.

Legends are legends & for a reason. Love & Respect to the Legends like ZZ Top - Real Musicians & Artists in their own right. ❤

Billy Gibbons is the coolest man on the planet and can still play guitar as well as he did when he was younger ... never misses a lick! I miss seeing Dusty Hill on stage with Billy ... R.I.P Dusty ... your fan miss you but will never forget that voice and those Bass guitar skills! 🤠👍👍
