"hawken" skoot and shoot gameplay with "war robots" and "mech arena" like mech designs. not exactly unique but so few mech games these days are. of course i bet this design decision for the mechs is very corporate. so instead of getting anything unique we are getting yet another war robots inspired arena shooter.

but this will suffer under the same thing hawken did. im guessing this is multiplayer online only. it will attract that type of audience and they will come and they will spend the money to pay to win. and then the game will fall under obscurity when the money grubbing is too much and there is no actual in game story to be attached to.

i could be wrong about its popularity, but these days im less and less interested in multiplayer matches as my reflexes only get worse over time. i want mech action, and a fun story, and interesting lore (campaign and horde modes, that's what appeals to me these days).

also the mechs walk weird, like a waddle, i cant help but giggle at it instead of being in awe.
