Typical Playmaker moment to go back to an earlier save and make the same mistakes again
Jeremy-dknu
This guy seems to be a good person to learn EU4 trading from, guess I am gonna do that
TheEmirist
Fun Fact about the Bronze Cannons event, it fires when the first country that has a copper province reaches mil tech 7

One more opportunity for me to argue that Venice is the legitimate Roman Empire after the fall of Constantinople. It was Roman territory, populated with Roman citizens, who never formally declared their independence from the Roman state. Ergo, when the rest of the Empire fell, Venice was all that was left.
This means:
- The Roman Empire fell in 1797
- The Latin Empire was legitimately Roman

You should build the trade steering trade company improvement in every node . Not saying 1000 ducats on that will give you the quickest return on investment before 1500, but since your objective is just getting the eco hegemon you just need the number to go up

23:35 yes, admiral maneuver gives +10% fleet trade power per pip, very strong

"We need to figure out how to get our trade ships on the other side of Africa" If only you had some sort of canal 🤔
oldetobie
i know the venetian trade ships age ability seems tempting to take first, but since you have 15 k anyway and are sure to get it later, wouldn´t AE impact first be more reasonable?
philippsells
Its like watching mr bean play eu4 but it all works out in the end
ForestBertrand
7:20 honestly we literally need that, control groups need me to click a button and that just cant be
Leann-n
If you tell the ships to go to port during war you do still get the trade

Day 4 (not consecutively) of asking you to become the EoC, HRE Emperor and Shogunate at the same time (bonus points if you get the pirate republics mechanics too). I'm interested in your approach. Obviously the Pirate Republic mechanics lock you into So and Gotland but disregarding the PR, I'd like to know where you'd go. I tried to follow your Majipahit guide and do it that way so I could have the vassal CB but by the time I made it to europe, there weren't any weak spots.
Swerdna
think for the bronze cannon pop up you need to own a province with copper for it to trigger
bilbobaggins
@ThePlaymaker @7:51 I'm pretty sure they made that a feature of EU5
NAH
3:48 So, stupid question but, why did you choose the gold province specifically to make the trading city?
Leann-n
Super entertaining run. Not sure how trade works, but it would be cool to know.
Davidius-Ethaneus
I don't know what substance you've been using, but I want it!
mischadebrouwer
Stupid question but why didn’t you fully annex those small nations? Ain’t they also suck your trade even with a 1/1/1 province?
esperantocotez
An admirals menovour gives Bono to trade power

bro, just watch remans video on trade, it literally explains everything extremely simply
