Here is a simulation of the SpaceX Red Dragon performing a Mars EDL (entry, descent, and landing). This simulation is meant to inform the overall mars architecture. As a result, the G forces are limited to around 4Gs. This flight profile, along with improved areodynamics, was created by /u/JohnnyOneSpeed of reddit.

The only thing more impressive than getting Red Dragon to Mars was getting Just Read the Instructions to Mars. Very impressive, SpaceX.

I don't think Dragon has over 1km/s of ∆v, unless all that empty crew cabin is filled with fuel.
