I think Sade is an incredibly difficult artist to cover because her unique tone really carries her songs combined with the drama in her vocal but I think this is a wonderful cover!

Honestly, I'm a Sade fan and I've heard this song before, but I never *listened* to it. I never realized that it was about PTSD until I heard this version. The sparseness of the piano and Kelela's voice brings out the loneliness and struggle of this story in ways that the original doesn't.
