Oh Lori…I just LOVE that patriotic block you shared at the end. I have a grandson, who is in ROTC & will enlist in the Army as soon as he graduates college. Hi Lori, again another wonderful block. I can't hang a wreath on my door because the birds always build nests in them so instead I hand small quilts. This will make a lovely four block door hanging. Have a wonderful weekend.

Great video. Very clear. I've done a similar flower block with one addition. I snowballed an additional corner of each petal using a smaller square. When the 4 petals are joined, the additional snowballed corners make a center for the flower - just another option.

Hello! A timely video as I was in Rockford today visiting my mom (I moved from the area before the turn of the century 😂). I love this simple, yet beautiful block. I'm returning to quilting after many many years and really love these scrappy blocks that can use pre-cuts as my stash is very limited.
