Meltdown [Techno/Game Music]

This music is a spiritual successor to my old track "Radioactive" Built from the same concept, but it turned into a completely different thing in the end(apart from the stabbing synth vaguely resembling the original climax pattern.)
I spent so long with this, I deconstructed it and rebuilt it like 3 times, trying to get a better understanding of stereo-space. And pushing the detail on the video a bit longer this time as well.
This is more in the ways of the old when it comes to composition style, taking a lot from my style 8 years ago where I would mostly stick to 1-2 patterns of bass but elaborate on top of it with arpeggios and chords. I'd like to think I'm much better at it now.

This has since been featured in games like Roblox / Epic Minigames.

Wow, I accidentally clicked on this in a youtube mix playlist, was about to leave but then saw its from Waterflame. So I gave it a listen, pleased as HELL BROO!!!

There's a voice in this soundtrack that sounds like it's saying "Dyatlov" at some points, the name of the technician in charge of the crew that worked in the control room of the Chernobyl power plant the night of the accident. He had also been exposed to a previous reactor melt down incident on board a Russian nuclear military submarine prior to this event. It's actually miraculous he survived with only minor symptoms of radiation sickness even from the first incident, let alone the second (which is the worst nuclear disaster humans have yet faced.)

I love this piece! It's tense and really fits the idea of a nuclear meltdown. I personally think that this kind of sounds like a battle theme that one would hear in one of the Gamecube Pokemon games, particularly at 1:02 - 1:35. Of course, that is a good thing.
