I think the quality of events has plummeted ever since 2022, but this is almost insulting. They struggled to do the bare minimum. Not even summer skins.

We won’t have a summer event next year. This event is absolute proof of that. They are quite literally forsaking all else just to contribute to their already failing metaverse, and it’s sad. I’ve never been so eager for a fortnite chapter to end. They’ve made asinine changes after asinine changes that literally nobody asked for, and I can only assume that it could only get worse from here.

Honestly I was exited for this years summer event… I was heartbroken when we got nothing… no unvaults, no summer changes just… 3 rewards when we used to get more than 10 ( better than nothing so I’ll take it )

i honestly miss how much hype the summer events were back then. we were actually locked in for those rewards, and the new added stuff was so fun

I mean this without sarcasm just truth of how I started feeling through last months of Fortnite. First the Oilers were robbed by the Panthers for the S -Cup. Epic just doesn't care anymore. They have it in one gear and that's " Do the minimum to achieve the required cash flow we need" Forget creators who helped make Fortnite what it is and Forget players who have spent countless hours and money for the love of the game. As a military veteran, loyalty to something I like or believe in is always unwavering period. However, Epic is pushing the boundaries on my loyalty to Fortnite with it's "Ho-Hum" attitude towards getting back to what made this game Outstanding.

It's still unbelievable to me that the most memorable summer event for me is still the one from Chapter 1, Season 9

As long as there are some cosmetic rewards I don't mind. Glad there is a water-level wrap since I didn't ever get the one from the shop.

Also when the season first dropped, the gameplay was NOT casual. I see myself as a casual player and was not happy with how the gameplay was because it was not casual, it was chaotic. Theres a huge difference between the two.

Jack sparrow is our only hope to save the rest of the summer. Reload is rly fun tho but they didn’t even try with summer. It keeps getting worse each year, next year they are probably gonna remove the quests and shop skins 💀
