The surge brakes on your trailer should release or "reverse lock out" if there is voltage in the 5th pin coming from your truck. If you are having trouble in reverse it may be a wiring issue.

Yeah seen these at my local lakes. Sorry price is so inflated it's a joke to me. No way are these things worth $100K. No effing way will I ever pay that kinda price. It's a fad, like the new broncos... no way worth what they charge.
