Wow! Straight from the mind of God. This is spot on. The trauma of emotional neglect and abandonment has been my experience growing up and is one of the main reasons for my codependency and the unhealthy attachment I feel toward people at times. I am truly getting free and the power of codependency and the lies the enemy has built up in my mind over the years are crumbling. I am getting free. Thank you, Jesus, and thank you, Ailene, for your obedience to God in teaching this message to us. Everybody who desires to break free from codependency or experience more healthy meaningful relationships as well as those who desire to live in a greater level of freedom in Christ needs to listen to these teachers.. They are truly life-changing!

Sometimes neglect in our childhood comes from difficult life situations, like an ill parent, not from abuse.

I once read a statement that touches on what you said about detaching and attaching. It is in reference to John 15:4. A union with Christ by living faith is enduring; every other union must perish. Christ first chose us, paying an infinite price for our redemption; and the true believer chooses Christ as first, and last, and best in everything. But this union costs us something. It is a relation of utter dependence to be entered into by a proud being. All who form this union must feel their need of the atoning blood of Christ. They must have a change of heart. They must submit their own will to the will of God. There will be a struggle with outward and internal obstacles. There must be a painful work of detachment, as well as a work of attachment. Pride, selfishness, vanity, wordiness - sin in all its forms - must be overcome, if we would enter into a union with Christ. The reason why many find the Christian life so deplorably hard, why they are so fickle, so variable, is, they try to attach themselves to Christ without detaching themselves from these cherished idols.

And like you said, people can certainly become an idol. I am realizing this and this is probably one of the hardest things to detach from. Thanks for the video and your ministry:)

Your videos hit the spot where no others do. There is generational trauma in my family. I did not know my grandparents but I knew my mom and saw her pain. The same pain that is now happening again with myself and my son. I see in the behavior of my son, the relationship of myself and my mom. I also see the relationship of his dad with his dads mom. Its so sad to see thiscontinue to reoccur in every direction. Yet, its time to let go of the rope, hit pause, hit peace, and let time take time and turn to the Lion of Judah.

This video is helpful to understand about past soul ties. I found it odd that Jesus was not mentioned in this video, as this is supposed to be a Christian ministry. Jesus is the way the truth and the life and no one can go to the Father except through Him.
