@Walmart is Pulling LGBTQ Merchandise

@Walmart said it is ending all DEI initiatives in their stores and pulling most LGBTQ pride merchandise from their shelves in an effort to stay clear of woke culture. Just remember that this Black Friday when they're advertising a few dollars off a printer and please shop small this holiday season.

I suspect they're afraid of being the newest Trump target. I support human rights, and I support companies with backbone. I'll be avoiding Walmart.

the company has an established Associate Resource Group specifically for LGBTQ associates. Wal-Mart stated multiple times across multiple websites their "dedication to being the best workplace for LGBTQ persons to feel safe and in a friendly environment". They've been in the human rights index top-ten for several years. Their core values state "we believe in respect for the individual" and "acting with integrity".

So much for core values.

I guess we know where they would've told Rosa Parks to sit on the bus.

I used to go to Target regularly. I even bought a shirt i wore to pride the one year. Completely stopped going after they pulled the pride merch.

I've never seen my local Walmart sell any pride items beyond one dog bandana that went on clearance because people here won't buy pride stuff. And a single bath bomb set that was pride themed, and those were a few years ago. They haven't sold any pride items since then, and it always makes me sad.

Im a woman and im only into women so there against same gender couples together by removing lgbtq it doesn't matter what the excuse is is unacceptable to be very ignorant & very judgemental like that alot of people could still shop at Walmart if they want to but im not that's all im gonna say this really hurts me honestly

Now I don't live in the most socially progressive town in the UK but all the things I've bought from Powered by Rainbows not only are enjoyable for me but people around me who see them like them to. They are bright, cheery, positive products that (by and large) people like seeing around. Hopefully things will be better some day.

Well, I'm not shopping at Walmart ever ever ever again. Guess it's Target all the way. I never thought walmart had quality goods anyway. It's just a cleaner, Big Lots.
