First of all, she should stop complaining about facing female opponents, she's a female herself, and second, she got crushed by a 47 year old male, so maybe female opponents is the place to be for her. And third, the pairings are done by software, calculating rating points and tournament points. The machine has no clue who's a woman or a man. The fact is this, if she was a man we wouldn't even bother mentioning him, a 2600-ish rated GM. No one would care. But because she's a woman she gets alot of attention. She's never played a brilliant chess match in her life, she never won a top rated tournament in her life. She's a 2600 ish rated GM, and there are plenty of those out there. Ever heard about Emil Sutovsky? Or Ivan Cheparinov? No, that's what I thought. But they are both higher ranked than her and have both won top ranked chess tournaments. So why aren't we talking about them instead? Because they're guys, so no one cares. She should shut up and be thankful that she's getting this much attention and sponsorships. There are alot of male chess players out there that are much higher rated and have much more merits than her, and they never even get mention, they will never get any attention or sponsorships, through their entire career.
