What are the SASB and the ISSB?

Today’s answer is longer than normal. Inspired by the great example of Fasbee, “Sas-bee”, S-A-S-B, stands for the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board, a nonprofit organization created in 2011 to establish a consistent framework for businesses to report on sustainability issues. The key thing to know about SASB is that it is focused on meeting the informational needs of investors.
