OVERWHELMED! Peggy's Paradise Garden Was CONSUMED.. Help Us Rescue It (Ep5)

It's all hands on deck for this garden rescue, Colin is back repairing the porch roof! We tackle the green house and yes more brambles, with more visits from my wife & boys cheering Peggy up too! Super proud of how the rescue is coming along, we made a big dent in it today and looking forward to going all out in the next episode which will most likely be the finale in a couple of weeks time! Gives us time to get things growing.. Appreciate you all for being a part of this.

Did you ever imagine your simple pressure wash videos would evolve into tearing down sheds, putting up new roofs and giving windows and safe, clean homes for elders needing assistance? We never know the paths that we will take or the good we could do unless we are open to being led. The change in Peggy from the first episode to this one is as dramatic as her garden. Listening to her in the first episodes she just seemed tired and sad. And the more you do, the more sunshine you bring to her garden, the more sunshine you bring to Peggy! Fixing gardens, homes and hearts. ❤️

I'm a 50yr old train driver with no interest in gardening or DIY but I just watched a 45minute video of a couple of blokes digging and raking. Strangely satisfying.

A son asks his mother why she sometimes borrows salt or candles from their neighbors. The mother replies, "I do this to make them feel valued. Our neighbors are poor and have little for themselves. Your father helps them out occasionally, and I send them cake when we bake at home. They should not feel like they are only receiving. By giving us salt and other items, they experience the satisfaction of being needed.
That day, the wealthy boy learns how to remain humble without patronizing those in need.


In a similar vein, Ben helps elderly citizens by cleaning their gardens and pressure washing their driveways. The elderly, and sometimes even their neighbors, offer him beverages and biscuits in return. Peggy and Jim, who are beneficiaries of Ben’s selfless service, know they cannot repay his kindness. Ben, who is genuinely compassionate, shows his gratitude by graciously accepting a cup of tea or some refreshments.

P.S.: His dad is another gem of a person. I love his humor and the great bond he shares with his son.
