It's ironic that we will tax people who drink alcohol to help others not too...

The story on additional taxation on beer and wine missed the mark entirely. One might ask, "Where's the money from rec pot and gambling?" Business locally i.e bars and restaurants who serve seem already beaten up by the pandemic. Actually addressing casual addiction was the point of the recent law decriminalizing street drugs in small amounts. Until the actuary is evaluated then this makes no sense and is arbitrary.

Good God, we won't raise minimum wage but we are supposed to put these local breweries out of business and we can't even drown our low income sorrows with a beer. F that ...tax all the folks in congress who do nothing helpful for our state.

We decriminalized and just voted to find these services more. Let those things even begin before we even consider this tax

Our vulnerable population should have been first with the elderly.. that's what the recommendation was from the CDC I believe...

Maybe they should do it more like the marijuana Put these drunks in a database that shows how much and what kind of beer and how often.... Seems fair being that there's an obvious problem. 😎

Tax beer to fix addiction problem, while at the same time, they just decriminalized all drugs. What a joke.
