Idk if anyone else does this but i get so excited when i spot something 3d printed and automatically feel the need to tell someone, lol.

IKEA is adopting 3-D printing little extras to display on desks and such. For about a dollar you can print a cell phone stand-in to show how it looks in a room setting. And if a customer happens to take it, it’s relatively cheap to replace(Specifically IKEA Orlando has these).

I work at Microcenter and sometimes I 3d print stuff for displays like mic stand holders, security brackets, shelves for cages etc it’s handy

Haha Bruv why is that so relatable thought. Just go in a store to look at expensive stuff and wonder how something works and if you could build it for cheaper so you take it apart.

I bought a 1997 Toyota 4 runner With a 3D printed cuphholder, It was attached in the car perfectly. I didn't notice for a while.

I have this curiosity too!! while I was on the highway I actually stopped at a toll, the card scanner was broken and you could see the internals, many things where 3d printed 😂

It makes perfect sense to print one-off pieces for a single application. Better than using duct tape.

Was a surprise to see 3d printed lamp cover in McDonalds. They were printed with huge nozzle and in vase mode with tactile ornament. Pretty cool.
