Year 4: Maths: 2D Shape: Types of triangle

In this video Katie teaches you about triangles. A triangle is a 2D shape with three straight sides and three angles. The three angles in a triangle add up to 180 degrees. In this tutorial Katie looks at four different types of triangle. A right angled triangle, an equilateral triangle, an isosceles triangle and a scalene triangle.

In an end of term test or important exam your child might be asked to identify a type of triangle. They might also be asked to draw a type of triangle.
