In this video, I'll explain the Single Line Diagram (SLD) of a 33/11kV substation. This SLD diagram is a common diagram used in the electrical industry to illustrate the electrical 33kV/11kV system.

This SLD diagram of a 33/11kV substation will help you understand the circuit configuration and the equipment that's connected to it. By the end of this video, you'll know how to read an SLD, and be able to understand the basics of a 33kV/11kV substation.

At roughly 6.03 into the video, you discuss having an LA before and after the Transformer. Are these LAs part of the station or are they attached to the Transformer itself? Thanks

where is the auxiliary transformer????

Though Rated voltage for 33kV Nominal System Voltage is mentioned as 36kV, while mentioning the ratio of Trafo, you probably need to mention 33/11kV and not 36/11kV.

Is lighting arrester and Surge arrester(IEC/VDE/NEMA panel) same ?

Is great course you are conducting. One question, why sizes of bar uninuslated copper wires connected from power transformers to the grid ground of substation yard is large for example 4*185 sqmm2 while line to ground fault is small ?

So I would need for you to modify the Single Line Diagram of adding a Step Down Section from 33 KV to 11 KV, after the measurement section and then depart the three outgoing section from the 11 KV .

Hi I am doing my final year project. Can you do a video to represent the SLD in software such as DIgSilent powerfactory 15.1, particularly focusing on substation. To perform load flow and contingency analysis.
