If Christians believes Hades means Sheol, they might as well believe Zeus means Jehovah

I went through the same theological journey as you most likely. Eternal Conscious Torment (ECT) is what I first believed, only I didn't know then it was called that. At age 13, I talked to God like a friend during a long walk outdoors, I asked Him to explain "Hell" with a lot of specific questions but somehow having faith in Him. At age 17, I became an "Annihilationist" via "Armstrongism", though I didn't know either was called that at the time. "Universal Salvation" crept up on me through the internet somewhere in my mid to late 40s. I'm now 53, knowing God truly is "LOVE". I no longer participate in "Mainstream Churchianity".

The only time Jesus touched on the subject and which it mattered he talked about the location and he had the opportunity to clear the airway on any confusion and the conditions thereof. He spoke of Hades - the underworld (where dead souls go) mentioning there's fire mentioning there's torment mentioning there's a desire for thirst because it's hot & dehydrating. If this isn't correct You're indirectly saying Jesus taught a lie with a lie. A lie - there's an underworld called Hades with another lie - there's fire & torment therein.
Sorry person but you're wrong on this one

So then, my friend, do you believe there is a Hell? Because if Hell is a pagan place ruled by a pagan god named Satan, and Gehenna is an on-earth burning place over in the east side of Jerusalem, then what does God do to those who do not believe in Christ or obey Him after death.
I believe there is a Hell, which is not a pagan place but is addressed and used for warning by Jesus Himself various times in the Sermon on the Mount which implies that Hell is a very real place! Also, “satan” is not JUST an adjective, as you correctly stated, but also a name because in Revelation 12:9 it says, “The great dragon was hurled down that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who lead stage whole world astray.”
Therefore Hell is NOT pagan or fake but it is real and described in the Bible. And also Hell is not ruled by a pagan god called Satan because Satan, who is a very real enemy of ours, is not a god at all; if anything he WANTS to be. Now, like how God did with a lamb (the animal) to represent the REAL Lamb of God (Jesus Christ) or with a seed to represent the word of God that is down in a person’s heart, God could have used Gehenna, since it is a place to burn trash and dead bodies of criminals, to symbolize how the dead-in-spirit who were criminals by the means of God’s Law would be thrown in eternal fire, or Hell, at Judgement.
