Întrebarea ta e foarte bună și profundă! În Vechiul Testament, nu este spus direct, cu numele „Isus”, că El este Dumnezeu, pentru că Isus s-a născut mult mai târziu. Dar sunt profeții care arată că Mesia (adică Hristosul) va fi mai mult decât un om – va fi Dumnezeu. Iată câteva exemple:

1. Isaia 9:6 (una dintre cele mai clare profeții):

> „Căci un Copil ni S-a născut, un Fiu ni S-a dat... și Numele Lui va fi: Minunat, Sfetnic, Dumnezeu tare, Părintele veșniciilor, Domn al păcii.”



Aici se vorbește despre nașterea unui Copil care este numit „Dumnezeu tare”. E vorba despre Isus, născut ca om, dar fiind și Dumnezeu.

2. Mica 5:2

> „Și tu, Betleeme Efrata... din tine îmi va ieși Cel ce va stăpâni peste Israel, și obârșia Lui este din vremuri străvechi, din zilele veșniciei.”



Asta înseamnă că Mesia (Isus) nu are început, ci vine din eternitate – numai Dumnezeu este veșnic.

3. Isaia 7:14

> „Iată, fecioara va rămâne însărcinată, va naște un fiu și-i va pune numele Emanuel.”



„Emanuel” înseamnă „Dumnezeu este cu noi” – un nume care arată cine este acest Copil. Numele acesta arată divinitatea Lui.
