The bad draw in game 3 of the final followed by the crazy luck for Jon was pretty rare. It can happen though, thats what makes Pikemon fun to watch for me. You cant just build a powerful deck and run the table, the randomness can favor the underdog. Taking advantage of that randomness is where the skill comes in. Both game 1 & 2 were comebacks. Game 3 was crazy luck. That makes it entertaining. You dont know what is going to happen.

I'd like to use many of these on-camera matches as a plea for the TOs to listen: Look at how many of these matches would have not drawn with 60 minute rounds. These are not slow players. These are seasoned competitors with a solid knowledge of matchups and what their decks are doing. 50 minutes is not enough time to finish 3 games. The playerbase is begging you.

Not hating on the state of the meta but it is funny to me that both players in the finals are playing lost tina decks with the exact same sleeves. i kept thinking they were accidently going to drop their opponents discard pile into their own lost zone and then fail to get the right cards back out. in fact that almost happened a few times. surprised there's not a rule for mirror matches stating that one player must use different color sleeves.

This is what I hate in Pokémon, get a bad opening hand and skills means nothing... at the end it was a pure luck.
